The kit comes with everything you need. However, if you need extra supplies, they are available. A good example would be, if you wanted to use one sample for a "split sample", you would need more than one vial, since that would take 70ml of fluid, rather than the 50ml that the vial that comes with the kit. Also, to experiment with heating and cooling urine and see how this effects the properties of it, you may wish to order more than one set of the heaters. We even have drug testing kits, if you need to purchase them for your experiments. See the link here.
Fair warning that many test sites are requiring 60 to 70ml of fluid even if they aren't doing a split sample test. So having the extra 15 or 50ml vial on hand with extra heated water is a very good idea. You can not use any water on site, so you have to bring everything with you.
Practicing at home with plain tap water and extra heaters will allow you to feel more confident in the procedure. Which is why we suggest 2 or even 4 extra heaters.
The digital thermometer is suggested so that you learn the difference between what the temperature strip reads, and actual temperature. There is some variance between the two.
Hopefully you will find this information helpful as you gather what you need to pass your urine test.
Please remember not to use the powdered urine kit for government jobs or government mandated testing, as that is a federal felony. (this includes truck / bus drivers, or anyone that works in a job that is government regulated like an airport or schools) You can also not use this if it's going to include medical testing, as it always tests high glucose.
