Reading your home test can be quite challenging. Before using it's very important to read the instructions on the home test. A common error is not pulling off the protective cap exposing the felt finger that you dip the urine in. If you follow the instructions correctly you should see two lines after dipping it in the urine. The C line is the control line and will ALWAYS be a dark red color. The T line is the test line and will ALWAYS be lighter than the control line if you are testing negative. The home test is not designed to give you a precise reading but rather an general idea on whether you are below or above the threshold for a particular toxin. Those thresholds are created by the federal government. For example 50ng is the standard for marijuana. If you see a very faint T line it's possible that you are a borderline NEGATIVE. Technically that's considered as a NEGATIVE. However if you want to work on getting the T Line darker please create a support ticket and we can discuss your options.
